What are Virus Definitions??
Virus definitions are updates provided by the virus software vendor that tells your virus program how to find and clean viruses.
Double Quick Tip
TIP 1: Most viruses are received as attachments through email. Avoid opening attachments from people you do not know.
TIP 2: Some viruses can open when the preview pane of Outlook or Outlook Express is shown. You can turn this off in Outlook by going to the Tools menu then options and look under the tab labeled "Other". In Outlook Express you can turn this off by going to the View menu then click layout.
