Registration: Register for Classes

Current Student Registration

STEP 1: Self-Service has been integrated into myChargerNet. Log into the new myCN system, go to the Student tab, and click on Register For Classes under the Self-Service links on the left side of the page. The Self-Service registration process is very similar to our previous Online Schedule and Web For Students.

  • Current students may also want to consult with their Degree Audits before registering for classes, and/or discuss your long-range plans with your adviser.
  • If you plan to transfer to a university, you are responsible for planning your courses according to the requirements specified in that university’s catalog. Use the equivalency tables to determine the equivalent course number at Columbia State.
  • If you have a hold flag on your account due to academic reasons (missing admissions documents, transcripts, immunization records, test scores, etc.), you must submit these to the Admissions and Recruitment office before you will be allowed to register. If your hold flags are for non-academic reasons (such as parking fines, missing library books/videotapes, etc.) you must clear these with the respective offices before you will be allowed to register.

STEP 2: Pay your bill by the due date. Your schedule will be deleted, and you will no longer be register, if you miss the payment deadline. See the calendar for deadlines.

STEP 3: Obtain your annual parking permit and student ID at the Student Information Center at Columbia or from the office at any other campus location as soon as you have paid your fees.

STEP 4: Buy your books from the campus bookstore or our online bookstore and go to class! The bookstore at Columbia is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The other campuses will have bookstores available when classes begin.
