Register & Pay For Classes

New Students Only: After formal acceptance to the college (by way of an acceptance letter mailed by the Office of Admissions), you are a current student, no longer a prospective/future student.

  • Orientation: Degree-seeking students that have never been to college are required to attend a new student orientation session before they will be allowed to register. Non-degree-seeking students, or students who have been to a college before, are also invited to attend — as it makes the college transition process easier. Parents are also welcome. Orientation comes before advising. The orientation covers the services available to students, how to use campus computer systems (including myCN), and how to register.

All Students: The information presented here is an abbreviated version of the information found in the current Enrollment Guide.

  • Advising is required for all degree-seeking students, prior to being allowed to register for classes. New students will meet with Advising office personnel, while existing students will meet with his or her faculty advisor (a faculty member in your area of study). Advisors can help you decide what you want to do, and assist you in getting there.
  • Registering for classes is covered in detail on the Registration site.  Students register by using myChargerNet (myCN) online. This is also where classes can be added or dropped.
